Just a few seasons ago the NFL was settling into the idea that the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers would be among the league’s elite franchises, battling it out for the NFC West for the next decade. Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick would be bitter rivals facing off at least twice a season.
I never really liked Colin Kaepernick, or thought he was anything special as a QB. I did enjoy the rivalry that he had against the #Seahawks

Now it appears that those day are over before they ever really hit their peak.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Kaepernick wants out. Not surprising, considering how things have gone South since Jim Harbaugh left for Michigan. What might be a bit of a shock is the destination that Kaepernick has requested as his next home. Of all places, Kaepernick wants to go to the Cleveland Browns and join Hue Jackson.
Here's a sentiment not many have shared recently: Colin Kaepernick wants to play in Cleveland. Respects Hue Jackson. Browns-Niners talking.

If his days are truly over in the NFC West, it’ll be clear that the Seahawks got the best of Colin Kaepernick. In his six career starts against Seattle, the 49ers only managed one victory, a 19-17 win in which he completed just 51% of his passes for 175 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. Nothing spectacular, right? Well it’s still much better than his lifetime 2/7 TD/INT ratio.
I am a little sad it didn’t work out for him in San Francisco. I’m going to miss those beatings the Seahawks defense would dish out. It was a lot of fun to watch.
